  1. I am delighted to announce that my 30th book, The End of Everything 11, is now available for pre-order. E of E 1 was my second release as a full-time author. I hit the publish button, crossed my fingers and hoped beyond hope that people would like it. I can’t tell you how happy I am that people did.

I love writing these characters, and I really loved writing this book. I hope you enjoy reading it.

A late-night conversation leads to a crisis of conscience and a terrifying realisation.

Dawn has yet to break, but for Robyn, Wren and Mila, nothing will ever be the same again.

Before night falls, they will need to battle time, terrain, their enemies and the infected.

Today, they will be tested to their physical and mental limits.

Today, they will sacrifice more than they ever have.

Today will change everything … forever.

  2. Well, cripes alive! One minute, I’m happily typing away, and the next, I’ve finished the first draft of my thirtieth book. The vital parts of The End of Everything 11 are all now in place, and next week, I’ll be starting the second draft. I can’t tell you how excited I am about this one.

Explaining how the writing process works in my head is really tough. On this one, it’s impossible. Normally, I get to see one POV at a time, but there were multiple occasions in this book where I saw two or three at once. I never rewrite during a first draft, but there were a couple of occasions where I had to go back to write another section from a different perspective. (Trust me, it will make sense when you read it).

It was a really unusual experience but totally absorbing at the same time. I’m talking to Christian about a cover, and I can’t wait to see what he comes up with. Hopefully, we’re still looking at an April release, but I’ll have some more news on that very soon.

For all those who listen to the audiobooks, you’ll be happy to hear that this week I pushed the launch button on Before Safe Haven: Jules. This was the ninth and final book I released in my first year as a full-time author, and I had an awful lot of fun writing it. Jules is one of those characters who always manages to bring a smile to my face, and Kim’s characterisation of her leaves me in awe. I hope you enjoy the book as much as I did.
